Privacy
This is a demo. Please don't type personal information (names, contact details, health or money matters about real people) into it.
What happens to what you type
- Your question is sent to the AI model this site is connected to (api.replicate.com), together with the descriptions of the simulated people. That provider handles it under its own privacy terms.
- If Read recent news headlines is on, the server searches Google News for your question. Google sees the search text, not who you are.
- Uploaded CSV files are read in memory to make the forecast and then discarded. Only the file name, the column you chose and a one-line summary of the result are kept in the log below.
- Uploaded images (image tests) are sent to the same AI provider so it can look at them, then discarded. They are never saved on this site. The log keeps only the names you gave them, the audience and the result.
AI providers may process data in another country (often the United States) under their own terms. Check their privacy policies before entering anything you wouldn't want them to see.
Children
This site is meant for adults (18 or older) and isn't directed at children.
Not for the EU, EEA or UK
This site isn't intended for, or offered to, people in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. If you are there, please don't use it or send it any information.
What the site keeps
- A log of predictions (question or file name, place, result, model, timing) so answers can be reused, shared and listed. It keeps the most recent 5,000 and is wiped whenever the server restarts on the free hosting plan. It does not record who asked.
- Questions can be public. Every forecast gets a share link that anyone with the link can open, and the homepage lists popular questions under "What people are asking". Questions that look like they contain an email address, phone number or web link are never listed there.
- To stop one visitor from using up the demo's AI budget, the server counts requests per visitor using a scrambled (salted hash) version of your network address. It lives in memory for about an hour and is never saved. The hosting provider may keep its own standard access logs.
In your browser
No cookies, no analytics, no ads and no trackers. Fonts, maps and scripts are all served by this site. Your recent forecasts list is stored in your own browser (local storage) so you can come back to it; the Clear history button removes it.
Removing something
If a question you asked shows up somewhere you'd rather it didn't, contact the project owner through the repository where this demo is published, with the link to the forecast, and it will be removed.
